I grew up surrounded by sawdust, tools, and the sound of hardworking hands. My dad, uncles, and family friends were always working on something—transforming simple materials into homes and beautiful spaces. Whether it was building a new deck or fixing a leaky roof, they seemed to have the power to create and repair anything.
To me, they were almost like superheroes. With every swing of a hammer or brush of paint, they made the impossible look effortless. They weren’t just building things—they were making a difference, one project at a time. Watching them, I knew I wanted to be just like them someday.
But as I got older, life nudged me in a different direction. College, career goals, and societal expectations told me that success looked different—suits and ties instead of tool belts. Yet, no matter where I went or what I did, I always found myself sneaking back to my roots. Evenings spent in the garage building shelves. Weekends spent helping friends with DIY projects. Each nail I hammered in and each board I cut reminded me that building wasn’t just a hobby for me—it was part of who I am.

I made the decision to step away from my role as Assistant Operations Sergeant and follow my passion full-time. It wasn’t an easy choice—leaving behind the stability of the military to build something entirely my own—but it felt like the right one.

It started with a simple idea: to rebuild trust in the trades and deliver exceptional craftsmanship while creating a life where I could be home with my family every night.
